Can you sell the wedding gifts you don't want or need? Is is impolite or ungracious or being ungrateful?
Okay. So I asked a question earlier about asking for money or letting persons who are not close to the parents and siblings but are close to the bride and groom know that the couple would prefer money. The general answers were that it was bad manners.So leads to another question can you have a yard sale or put the stuff you got up for auction? Well yeah you can, but it impolite.ps.before anyone says it yes yes, you would have sent a thank you card to the person persons who gave you the gift in the first place
Bridal shower, bachelorette party, wedding shower, wedding gifts?
One of my good friends is getting married in 3 months. I am not actually in the wedding party because we just met recently, but we hit it off right away so I am invited to all the fun stuff like wedding dress shopping, the bachelorette party, and of course the millions of showers that brides have. So when is it appropriate to give gifts? As far as I know you always gift a gift at a wedding, and at anything with the word " shower" in it, correct? But what type of gift? And do you give a gift at the bachelorette party? Sorry I am not from America so I don& 039 t understand the cultures.

Wedding gift: Can I buy something similar to what is on the registry?
When you are buying a wedding gift are you supposed to strictly stick to what& 039 s on the bride and groom& 039 s registry? The bride has something on her Macys registry and I was thinking about buying her something similar from Williams Sonoma because it is slightly nicer and more useful in my opinion . Is that ok or should I buy the one from Macys? What are your thoughts on buying wedding gifts not on the registry?
