Wedding gifts for second wedding?

Question: Wedding gifts for second wedding?

(Posted by: mae! on 2010-02-21 20:30:17)

My dad is a widower. He& #039;s getting married again. Is a wedding gift appropriate? What to give??? Bride and groom both have children - all are adults and out of the house. thanks Thank you to all that answered!

Of course it 's appropriate to give your father and his bride a wedding gift. What to give is the difficulty, in my opinion. If you 're familiar with their taste in decorating, you might find something for their home. Otherwise, something engraved with the date to honor the occasion would be nice, and so would a gift certificate to a nearby department store.

Yes, a wedding gift is appropriate. Gift ideas - a nice picture frame for wedding picture, wedding album, champaign or wine glasses, Money and nice card are also nice. Good Luck.

Yes a gift is appropriate. It 's a happy day and it 's your Dad. How about getting them a weekend stay at a Bed and Breakfast? Unique and something they 'll appreciate and remember and probably not do for themselves.

Yes. I would find out if your father and his fiancee are registered anywhere and shop from that if they are. If not perhaps you and your siblings could all pitch in and get them a nice gift.

Totally appropriate. Get him something fun for he and his new wife to do together. Gift certificate for dinner at a nice restaurant. A round of golf. A day at Disneyland. Tickets for a Broadway show. Or get them something for their honeymoon -- a new digital camera? a video camera?
